PAIN IN THE NECK (ASS, BUTT, REAR)заноза (боль) в одном месте.Словом, человек хороший (достал!) или ситуация приятная (не знаешь, как выпутаться).В зависимости от места дислокации этой боли выражение может быть более или менее сильным. Если говорят о neck (шее) - все совершенно прилично, прямо как с нашим образным переносным смыслом "зубной боли". Все же остальные слова обозначают то любимое занозами место, на котором сидят ( rear - иносказательно, butt - прямо, ass - совсем грубо).
